An embodied approach

Our emotions begin in the body. Before we can think about what we’re feeling, we sense it. Then our brain steps in and tries to organize the experience labeling it as good or bad, safe or unsafe.

Many of us learn to live primarily in our heads. We override what our body is communicating and disconnect from the very signals meant to guide us.

That disconnection can leave us feeling cut off from ourselves and distant in our relationships.

In our work together, we’ll gently reconnect those parts. We’ll integrate your body, mind, and spirit so you can live and respond from a place of wholeness and show up as your full, grounded self.

A therapy intensive is an extended, focused counseling session designed to go deeper than traditional weekly therapy allows. Instead of 55-minute appointments spread over months, an intensive creates protected time - often several hours or a half/full day - to fully explore a specific issue, process trauma, clarify decisions, or break through stuck patterns.

Intensives are valuable because they reduce the start-and-stop rhythm of weekly sessions. They allow us to immerse in your story, regulate your nervous system, build insight, and implement tools in real time creating meaningful momentum and deeper integration.

Therapy Intensives

After years of doing my own deep personal work, earning a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and sitting with countless real stories in real rooms, I bring both lived experience and clinical training to this space.

I have witnessed heartbreak, resilience, trauma, faith shifts, caregiver burnout, and quiet rebuilding.

Together, we’ll set meaningful goals. We’ll explore your story with curiosity and care. We’ll work toward helping you feel safer in your body, strengthen your relationships, learn practical tools, and make sense of what’s been operating beneath the surface so that change isn’t temporary, but sustainable.

If you’re ready for that kind of work, I’d be honored to serve as a guide for you.
